10 Things Thursday..

Jeez, you'd think I'd be able to find some things to blog about between Thursdays but this week has NOT been good.

1.  I got my hair cut as planned last weekend. Didn't get much cut off, just enough to make it less poofy and add a little dimension in colors..

2.   Well, work has not been enjoyable for the last couple of days. Without going into too much, we got some really "interesting" news on Monday - which totally changed the vibe of our labor day shindig we went to, although it actually was pretty fun and booze filled - about our company and it's future.  We shall see what the future holds for all of us. If you know who I work for and I think I've mentioned it on here a few times, you can google and get the scoop. 

3.  In other awesome news, I went to my Primary Care Dr. yesterday to follow-up on Blood Work that I had had done last week since we are new to each other..  she confirmed that I indeed am now Post-Menopausal but she is confused as to why I'm still having "periods".  Technically, I should not be bleeding at all. So, she has enough concern that she's having me to an ultrasound today as well as an endometrial biopsy within the next few weeks.  For some reason, I'm not concerned but I'm not sure if it's b/c I literally can't handle one more bad thing to go on right now so maybe I'm just in denial!  Otherwise, she's happy with all the other stuff that she can tell from my bloodwork, so keep your fingers crossed there's nothing too wrong with me! 

4. FABULOUS NEWS:  my dad has a tissue match for a kidney donor.  This is awesome news! Hopefully they will be scheduling a date for a kidney transplant soon!!! 

5.  Phoenix band girls are meeting up this weekend so that should be fun! 

6.  My vacation to Cabo cannot come soon enough!  I need some sun, fun, beer, tropical drinks and relaxation more than I've ever needed it! 

7.  In all my stress this week, I've been turning to bad eating choices..  luckily my husband absentmindedly did not know he was helping me not go too far overboard. Last night, I needed to eat some ice cream something fierce and I went to get some out of the freezer and look what I found.. 

I mean, REALLY??  who does this shit?  my hubs does.  needless to say, I had two spoonfuls of ice cream last night and thankfully that was enough. 

8.  My working out has been CRAPOLA this week. I have Pilates tonight and I plan to workout tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday in hopes of salvaging what is left of this week. 

9.  I actually lost a little this week in the challenge which was good b/c if I hadn't, I would have gone apeshit! 

10.  Can't think of a 10th thing.. have a good rest of your day!
